What a charming video!
Sometimes it's nice to post a video for no other reason than that it's a delightful discovery.
So here, from the Conan O'Brien show on CNN some while back, is the great comedian Carl Reiner--aged 91--fulfilling his dream to sing opera.
"I had a voice" he tells the impressed host, "and all I lacked was pitch and timing." You can tell that he did have a voice.
And if he's right on the other things, well you've got to admire his guts! And it's Carl Reiner, for Pete's sake.
He's earned to right to sing whatever he darn-well wants.
