When it comes to the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie, there are some new rumors may upset fans. Specifically, claims are being made that the sequel may be canceled. There are others suggesting that this news would delight Charlie Hunnam, who abandoned his role in Fifty Shades of Grey.
Rumors have been flying that fans will only get to see Part 1 of EL James famous Fifty Shades trilogy. At the very least, they will have to wait a very long time, as gossip site The Stir reports:
"Sorry, Fifty fans, it's going to be a loooong time before Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson reprise their roles as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele...When asked about when the sequel would start shooting, producer Dana Brunetti said, 'I have no idea. I have no idea yet. We haven't even started discussing that yet. We just want to get this one wrapped and get it cut. We'll see the cut, see how it goes, and once it's released, we'll start discussing what happens next.'"
Some sites have even suggested that Charlie Hunnam, who was once scheduled to play Christian Grey in the upcoming film, is happy over the decision, because he can't wait to get the entire 50 Shades franchise behind him.
And Charlie's not the only one who has reportedly suffered from the movie. One insider told The Mirror that the film had definitely strained the relationship of Rita Ora and Calvin Harris:
"It's been tough for both of them but it's been even harder for them to spend time together recently. He's been busy DJing and she's working on her new album and shooting Fifty Shades of Grey. Calvin is more private when it comes to fame than Rita, which also played a part. He'd be happy to meet someone who has nothing to do with the industry."
