After months of rumors that Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are seeking a divorce, the Voice star will be hosting tonight's ACMA ceremony. And Miranda Lambert couldn't be happier, despite reports that she is fed up with her allegedly heavy drinking hubby.
Blake and Miranda are up for a combined 12 ACM awards, but that doesn't mean they're fighting to see who's going to come out on top. In fact, Miranda has been busy praising Blake in the press.
During a recent interview with People, the songstress explained what she has no desire to host like her husband. Turns out Miranda would be terrible at that, because she lacks Blake's incredible timing:
"I'm not good at that stuff not at all. I would totally fall flat on my face. My comedic timing isn't good. You know, the timing you naturally have to have. Blake is the best. I don't know how he does it."
Not even Miranda's kind words can distract fans from all of the tabloid gossip surrounding Blake and Miranda. For months now, rumors have suggested that the two will be getting a divorce.
OK! claims to have caught up with a friend of the couple, who told the publication that Miranda and Blake may soon call it quits. As a last ditch effort, Miranda gave Blake an ultimatum:
"Miranda told Blake that he's almost 40 years old [he turns 38 in June] and needs to stop with his all-night frat-boy lifestyle. Miranda finally declared that he needs to either grow and mature with her, or she's leaving."
The same insider goes on to reveal that Miranda is giving up the bottle herself:
"Losing weight has really helped Miranda grow spiritually. She feels like a whole new person. She's realized that she feels much better without staying up all night and drinking alcohol."
