Once Upon a Time In Wonderland may have ended its brief run on ABC last night, but NBC and Showtime have your fantasy needs taken care of. Tonight there is a brand new episode of NBC’s hit series, Grimm. The fairytale cop series has recently been renewed for a fourth season. However, if you are looking for a monster story with a little more bite, Showtime is gearing up to launch their own myth exploring drama, Penny Dreadful, starring Josh Hartnett and BIllie Piper. The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Grimm, titled "Synchronicity," reads:
“An unexpected ally swoops in to ensure that Adalind and her baby get out of Europe safely. Back in Portland, Monroe and Rosalee throw themselves into wedding-planning details; and Nick and Juliette remember their failed proposal.”
NBC recently announced that the series has been renewed for a fourth season. The all new episode airs tonight at 9:00 p.m. on NBC before Hannibal.
Meanwhile, Showtime is gearing up for its very own monster drama, Penny Dreadful. The new series, debuting on May 11, stars Josh Hartnett and Eva Green, with Doctor Who’s Billie Piper. The was created by Skyfall writer John Logan and is co-produced by Skyfall director Sam Mendes.
The new series offers a realistic take on classic horror icons Dracula, Frankenstein and Dorian Gray.
