The cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta are contractually forbidden form recapping any of the reunion brawl's events, but NeNe Leakes is at least allowed to say that Porsha Williams should not be fired for anything that went down between her and Kenya Moore. And some Housewives productions insiders tend to agree.
There was no doubt some sort of physical altercation between Real Atlanta Housewives Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore during the reunion taping, but some feel nothing rough enough to warrant the former Mrs. Kordell Stewart's dismissal.
The near-reputable TMZ has reported, that Moore called 911 and reported that she had been assaulted, presumably by Williams (via Hollywood Life):
"I've just been assaulted. She hit me in my head and was fighting me...hitting me."
But a source told Us Weekly that the reunion throw-down was barely a tussle, let alone an actual fist-fight:
"They did get into an altercation. Porsha stood up, so then Kenya stood up.
"Porsha charged at Kenya and pulled her hair, but it was over in a matter of seconds.
"Porsha never dragged her by her hair. Andy [Cohen] and a producer jumped in and then security came...Kenya is fine."
A series insider told Radar Online that despite the rumors, Porsha hasn't been let go from the show:
"At the end of every season, everyone's getting evaluated on [if] they go forward for next season.
"It got broken up quickly. And as soon as it got broken, it was clear Porsha was very remorseful.
"Was she fired? No...They wouldn't make a rash decision like that.
"Would she potentially be? Who knows? Anything is possible right now, clearly."
"They just shot the reunion. A lot of conversations have to happen, so no decisions have been made yet."
Porsha's friend and Moore's nemesis, NeNe Leakes reportedly told TMZ, that for her it's a no-brainer who really needs to go from the show (via Christian Post):
"[Porsha] shouldn't get kicked off...What they need to do is kick Kenya's fake booty off."
Porsha and Kenya should fight it out Thunder Dome style...if the loser lives let her be tarred and feathered.
