Engaged Nashville star Hayden Panettiere and Fiancé Wladimir Klitschko originally announced they were postponing their wedding until the political strife in the Ukraine died down, but since Wladimir's brother Vitali has dropped out of the presidential raise to run for mayor of Keiv, maybe now is the time. Some members of the cast may not be around to attend the wedding anyhow; they are going to be taking the show's songs on tour this spring.
It has been difficult for Hayden Panettiere and boxer, boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko to plan the Ukraine wedding they'd dreamed about.
Wladimir Klitschko told Us Weekly, that Hayden understood and empathized with his inability to plan a party, while his country, Ukraine, was tearing itself apart:
"With the circumstances right now, it's hard for us to set a date...She's socially aware. She has that beauty outside, but most important, it's the beauty inside. Hayden is an amazing person."
For Hayden, postponing the wedding meant supporting the protestors, and that is what she is all about (via ABC):
"The beauty of this country is breathtaking: the landscape, the beautiful churches. But nothing compares to the undeniably deep souls of the Ukrainian people.
"There is a movement happening here and we have a chance to make things right, to make things just. You have a right to a democracy.
"Your struggles and your fight is not falling on deaf ears. You are being heard. The world will hear you."
But now that Wladmir's brother and one-time opposition leader Vitali, has shifted his focus from the national stage to more local offices, perhaps the wedding can be in Kiev once Vitali's in charge.
According to Contact Music, Vitali has endorsed someone else for president, in order to focus on a slightly more obtainable goal:
"Actress Hayden Panettiere's future brother-in-law, Vitali Klitschko has ended his campaign to become president of his native Ukraine and thrown his support behind a former rival.
"Klitschko, the older brother of Panettiere's boxer fiance Wladimir, is now planning to enter politics on a local level, by running for the Mayor of Kiev position."
But don't expect Putin to give her away...that guy doesn't let anything go.
