So it is understandable that fans would want the franchises added to Disney Infinity. New rumors suggest that they will get just that in the upcoming Disney Infinity 2. The sequel is rumored for release on the next gen consoles Xbox One and PS4. It turns out it really is a small world after all, who would've thought? The new game Disney: Magical World will be released with a special edition pink 2DS and Disney-themed 3DS XL, on April 11.
However, if you are looking for a much grander adventure, then Disney Infinity is the game for you. The massive, open world, racing, sports, fighting and all-in-one figure collection game experience, offers gamers their run of the Magical Kingdom’s finest. Except for characters from the fairly recently acquired Marvel and Star Wars franchises.
Recently players were offered a new hope, when the lightsaber weapons pack was released. Now new rumors suggest that the game could features figures from the aforementioned franchises.
At the beginning of the year, the makers of Disney Infinity, Avalanche Software, posted a job offer for teaster similar both old and new generation game systems. This has lead many to believe that the company is working on a sequel for all systems.
