‘Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate’ Cost and Mr. Freeze DLC Release Date for Xbox 360 & PS4, Not Wii U

Can not wait for Batman: Arkham Knight to drop later this year? Do you you need your crime busting, vengeance seeking Batfix now? Well you are in luck. WB Games is expanding the fun of the prequel game, Batman: Arkham Origins, with the upcoming Mr. Freeze themed DLC, "Cold Cold Heart." The new add-on will be released later this month. Meanwhile, the developer has just released a port of the 3DS and PSV game, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. However, the game is not currently available for the Wii U. Batfans can officially start busting some heads again, in the all new Deluxe Edition of the portable game, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate. The game originally made for the 3DS and PSV is now available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 for $19.99. The game will also reportedly come out for the Wii U later on this month. The new version of the 2.5D adventure,features spiced up graphics.

Meanwhile, Batman: Arkham Origins, DLC add-on, “Cold Cold Heart” is dropping later on April 22 and will sell for a reported $9.99. WB Games Vice President of Production, Ames Kirshen, released a statement to the press about the game's next chapter:

“This is…in-game, mission, story content, with brand new story content wrapped around Mr. Freeze in the Arkham Origins setting.”

Meanwhile, the next game in the series is reverting back to the original developer, Rocksteady and will feature a brand new villain. Rocksteady’s co-creator, Sefton Hill, has recently sat down with Game Informer, where he spoke the new character the Arkham Knight:

“We hadn’t in the previous games introduced someone new to the universe. We wanted to introduce someone who could really challenge Batman to go head to head with him in lots of different ways. We’re not talking about those ways just yet but this guy is definitely a formidable foe for Batman.”
