New Transformers ‘Titanfall' DLC: Optimus Prime Trailer; Game of the Month Award

'Titanfall' has just won IGN’s Game of the Month award. This shouldn’t surprise anyone considering how amazing the response to the game has been. Seriously, could the game get any better? Well, yes..yes it could. We learned that, when Respawn released an April Fools Day trailer, featuring Transformers’ Optimus Prime taking the place of a Titan.
Respawn has dropped a brand new, Titan on the field, Optimus Prime. The Autobot leader is the latest playable player in the new game. Well at least according to a new April Fools Day trailer.

Oh how we wish this was real. That would make the already super successful game even better. The game recently won, IGN’s Game of the Month Award. The official Titanfall Facebook page announced the win:

“We're honored to have been nominated for IGN.com's Game of the Month award! Now the community can also nominate Titanfall within their People's Choice Award.”

IGN reports on the win, writing:

“Plenty of great games dropped in January and February, but March is the month that 2014's game launches truly kicked into high gear. With the release of high-profile PS4 and Xbox One titles like Titanfall and Infamous, cutting-edge console gamers had plenty to smile about. Last-gen also got plenty of love, thanks to South Park and Dark Souls II. It won't be an easy choice, but ultimately IGN can only crown a single Game of the Month winner.”

However, the people can now chose their own winner.

Other games nominated for the IGN People's Choice Award alongside, Titanfall are:

Dark Souls II, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, Infamous: Second Son, South Park: The Stick of Truth, and The Walking Dead: Season Two - Episode 2.

What game do you think should be considered the best for March? Do you want to see them make a real Optimus skin for Titanfall? Let us know in the comments section at the bottom of the page.
