‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ 7 Episode Run with ‘Captain America,’ Bill Paxton, Deathlok and Kree Skye

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is back tonight and will bring us more than two episodes in a row for the first time all year. The upcoming seven episode run to the finale will feature a lot of action, including a Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier tie-in, the return of Bill Paxton as Agent John Garrett, the cyborg Deathlok and, of course, more of the lovely (and Kree-D.N.A-injected) Skye.

Tonight is the the beginning of the end for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, when they kick off the first of the final seven episodes. The first of which is aptly titled, “The End of the Beginning.”

In tonight’s all new episode, all of your favorite agents from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (except for Nick Fury) will all be aboard The Bus. That includes: Thor and Captain America 2’s Agent Jasper Sitwell, Item 47’s Agent Blake and the newly introduced Agent John Garrett, played by Bill Paxton.

Surely Coulson’s recent declarations that he was going to find out the truth about the big blue half of an alien that brought him and Skye back to life, will be addressed.

Recently, Skye actress Chloe Bennet revealed the identity of the alien’s race, when she told reporters at Paleyfest:

“I know that the alien was a Kree…and I know that I was injected with serum made from that and that I am cured and, to normal humans like Coulson, he almost died, but for me, for some reason, nothing happened.”

Guardians of the Galaxy villain, Ronan the Accurser, (Lee Pace) is also a member of the Kree race, opening the door for a S.H.I.E.L.D., GOTG crossover.

Speaking of MCU crossovers, next week’s episode will reportedly feature the fallout from the S.H.I.E.L.D. shattering events of Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier.

The newly assembled Deathlok will also make his return, in a horrific looking outfit.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns tonight on ABC, at 8:00 p.m.
