It looks like two coaches from the popular The Voice singing competition may be appearing in the same movie. Adam LeVine and Cee Lo Green will both appear on the big screen, following Cee Lo's arrest for drugs and news that he is being replaced by Pharrell.
It's official, Pharrell will be replacing Cee Lo Green, who announced earlier in the year that he was leaving the singing competition to focus on his own artistic projects.
Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late night programming, was super excited about the announcement, telling Hollywood Reporter:
"It's been a huge year for Pharrell, with recognition for his contribution in the world of music - the Despicable Me franchise soundtracks, his Oscar-nominated song 'Happy' and his Grammy-winning collaboration with Daft Punk on the breakout dance hit 'Get Lucky.' His dominance in record sales in 2014, coupled with his incomparable accomplishments in the world of fashion and design, make him an irresistible addition to The Voice family."
Don't worry Cee Lo fans, you'll still get to see the funky hit-maker. In fact, you'll be able to catch him side by side with his fellow co-worker in a new film, as E! Online reports:
"The Sexiest Man Alive is about to set the silver screen on fire! Adam Levine is making his move from the rock-star stage to playing a rising rock star on the big screen in Begin Again, for which he stopped by the Today show this morning to introduce the trailer."
