Rumors are always flying when it comes to the wedding of Kim Kardashian, of Keeping Up with the Kardashians fame. New reports suggest that the engaged socialite's wedding may be catered by Burger King. These ludicrous claims come after details of Kimye's prenup may have been revealed.
The rumor first got started when an alleged source told Daily Star that Kanye was going to buy a number of Burger King restaurants for his wife (via Huffington Post):
"As always, Kanye is thinking outside the box when it comes to gifts for Kim. She owns all the jewels anyone could ever want, so he is taking the practical route by investing in businesses for her instead. He knows the fast food industry is reliable and lucrative, plus BK is international so he thinks it's the perfect fit for Kim."
This, in turn, lead Burger King to make an official statement. The fast food franchise even offered to pitch in on their wedding day:
"Burger King Corp. is familiar with the recent news stories regarding Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. We are unaware of any purchase of BURGER KING® restaurants made by either Mr. West or Ms. Kardashian, but we're available to cater the wedding!"
These latest developments were released shortly after details of what appear to be Kim and Kanye's prenup were revealed. Popular US gossip site Radar Online claims to have gotten their grubby little hands on Kimye's prenup. If the website is right, then Kim could be getting a hell of a lot of money should the two ever part ways (like she did with her ex-husband, with whom she stayed married for just 72 days):
"Among the prenup details, for every year Kim is married to Kanye, she will get $1 million, capped at $10 million, the title of their Bel Air mansion will be in Kim's name, even though Kanye is footing a majority of the bill, and the sex tape star will keep all jewelry and gifts given to her by Kanye. Money she earns from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the Kardashian clothing line, and promotional appearances, will be considered her separate and sole income."
