Last week, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced their divorce after the actress was accused of cheating. Now the Coldplay singer doesn’t have to sit around and mope about the scandal. He has a brand new job as a coach on The Voice on NBC. Martin is joining the show just in time for the brand Battle Rounds part 2.
Last week, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced their long the rumored separation on the actresses’, lifestyle blog, Goop titled,"Conscious Uncoupling."
"It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate...We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate."
Paltrow has since broken her silence in a message on on a Goop blog, writing:
"CM and I in deep gratitude for the support of so many."
An unnamed inside has recently spoke to HollywoodLife.com, alleging that Chris Martin is not taking the breakup well:
“Chris is devastated. He suggested counseling, he even suggested they move back to London but ultimately that just didn’t work out for them...This has been a long time coming.”
However, Martin has big plans now he is a free man. The Coldplay front man is joining Blake Shelton and Adam Levine on the hit NBC singing competition, The Voice.
Martin will kick off the brand new, Battle Round 2, tonight at 8:00 p.m.
