'The Voice' Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert Divorce and Drinking Rumors Wane Before ACM Perfomance

Good news for The Voice's Blake Shelton and newest mentor, his wife Miranda Lambert. Despite months of rumors that the couple is getting a divorce over Blake's heavy drinking, the duo seem happier than ever...even if Miranda is helping another coach.

It turns out that this year's ACM Awards is going to have one heck of a lineup. Blake Shelton will be performing beside another coach on The Voice, Shakira, as Billboard explains:

"The Band Perry will open Sunday's ACM Awards, Shakira and Blake Shelton will perform 'Medicine' and George Strait will make an announcement about the show's 50th anniversary...Executive producer R.A. Clark said the Shakira-Shelton duet came from 'Shakira's folks reaching out to us, saying we have this opportunity and would you be interested? As producers we're always looking for these moments when we can bring folks together. We think it's great for the show.'"

This recent wave of good press is likely a welcomed change for the Blake and Miranda, who have been battling a wave of negative press for months. One source told OK! that the potential split has to do with Blake's heavy drinking:

"Miranda told Blake that he's almost 40 years old [he turns 38 in June] and needs to stop with his all-night frat-boy lifestyle. Miranda finally declared that he needs to either grow and mature with her, or she's leaving."

Turns out that Miranda is also sick of drinking, herself. The same insider goes on to reveal that:

"Losing weight has really helped Miranda grow spiritually. She feels like a whole new person. She's realized that she feels much better without staying up all night and drinking alcohol."
