Hunger Games 2 and Mockingjay star Jennifer Lawrence has been battling rumors that she is engaged and pregnant. But those rumors have taken a backseat, following her big win at the Kids Choice Awards.
Jennifer Lawrence might not have attended the Kid's Choice Awards, but that didn't stop her from sweeping the ceremony. Though there was no slime, Jen took home two of the best awards given, as Today explains:
"Hunger Games: Catching Fire was the big winner at Nickelodeon's 27th annual Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday. The movie earned three blimps - Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Female Buttkicker for star Jennifer Lawrence, and best movie - but with the actress' absence, there was no sliming for the franchise."
For the moment, her latest wins have silenced rumors that she is engaged to boyfriend (and super-hot eye candy) Nicholas Hoult. One report in OK! even quoted a source who claimed that the two were already engaged:
"All the family had gathered in the living room, enjoying the night before Christmas when Nick asked for everyone's attention and began giving a speech to Jennifer. He stood up and took her hand, helping her to stand up as well. When she was on her feet, he knelt down and pulled the ring out of his pocket and asked her to marry him."
According to the insider, Jen said yes, resoundingly:
"She immediately started crying. Then she screamed, 'Yes I'll Marry You.'"
There's only one problem with that article. It's completely false.
In a rare move, OK! actually acknowledged that the article was false and ran a correction in the following week. Still, these rumors have continued to survive.
