“Those who arrive survive”- Well that is clearly a lie. It’s no secret that nothing good can come the gang's venture to Terminus tonight on The Walking Dead. What surprises await at the end of the line? We will have to wait until tonight's Season 4 finale to find out. One thing we do know is that no one is safe--not even Rick, Carl or your beloved Daryl. Warning Spoilers Follow!
If you think the trip to Terminus is going to go well then you have another thing coming. Expect a whole lot of blood tonight.
Recently, the show’s creator Robert Kirkman teased tonight’s bloody finale, during a AMA Reddit secession:
"Savage. Honestly … people are going to be talking about this one. The cliffhanger at the end of Season 4 will make the wait between Seasons 4 and 5 the hardest wait we've ever had. ENJOY!"
Kirkman went on to add that anyone could die:
"In my opinion, I feel like characters ripen like fruit. So while I wouldn't say the more popular a character is the more likely they are to die, they do have to reach a certain level of popularity before they've 'earned' the death. No character is too popular to die. (Suck it, Reedus!)"
Not even the show’s lead, Rick is safe, as Kirkman added:
"ABSOLUTELY NOT. Although when I look in Andrew Lincoln's piercing blue eyes, I feel safe."
The Walking Dead has a mixed track record when it comes to season finales. However, Andrew Lincoln has teased some pretty big things for his character Rick Grimes in tonight;s episode, in an interview with Walker Stalkers:
“I would say that the episode that I enjoyed most is the episode you're just about to watch, because there are moments--certainly when you've been playing a character for four years--that are kind of turning points and it's really exciting when something happens to your character that irrevocably changes you, and you're about to see something that happens that does this to him in the episode coming up."
So what changes are in store for Rick? Our prediction! Someone close to him gets hurt, maybe even loses an eye.
