Divergent's Shailene Woodley has been acting almost her entire life, but that doesn't mean she isn't open to taking career or dating advice. American Hustle actress, lovely Jennifer Lawrence told the rising star if she avoided the pitfalls of drugs and boyfriends, she just might be able to navigate the mine field that Hollywood, California.
Shailene Woodley might seem like a fresh face, but the 22-year-old spit-fire has been a hard working actor for more than 15-years.
Shailene told OK! Magazine, that she wasn't pushed into being a child actor, she has always loved the work:
"I started acting when I was 5, so I've been doing it for 17 years now, which is crazy to think about!
"But it's always something that's been really fun for me...I enjoy it, but the day the fun disappears, I won't do it anymore."
That being said, acting isn't so "old hat" that barely-old-enough-to-drink actress wouldn't listen to some sound career advice if it came her way.
She told OK! Jennifer Lawrence gave her some very sound recommendations for keeping her life on track:
"She said, 'Don't do anything stupid, don't do drugs, don't make a sex tape, don't go to Whole Foods the day the film opens. Other than that, you'll be fine.
Jennifer Lawrence doesn't sound like a lot of fun, does she kids?
Besides Woodley doesn't need to take any pointers from Jennifer about how to survive; the Divergent hero told OK! that she is a survivalist expert:
"I could survive for a long time, I hope...I studied indigenous cutlures and lifestyles.
"I know how to survive in the wild, I know how to make fire out of sticks, and how to heal myself by using plants. I know how to build shelter."
Yeah...and if Shailene Woodley wants to make a sex tape, who the hell is Jennifer Lawrence to stop her?
