The long running hit CBS show, How I Met Your Mother, may be coming to and end this Monday, but there is still a lot of fun to be had. Before Barney and Robin’s big wedding in the series finale, the cast and crew sat down together on Inside the Actor’s Studio, to discuss their nine-year run. During the interview, Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel reprised their 2006 duet of "Confrontation" from Les Mis.
You know those guys from How I Met Your Mother? The one who hosts the Tony awards and the one who plays with Muppets. They tend to break out into song...a lot. However, no one seems to mind.
During a recent cast interview on Inside the Actors Studio, Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel broke out into a rendition of "Confrontation" from Les Miserables.
If the pair seem prepared it is because this isn’t the first time that the have performed this song in public. Back in 2006, they belted out the tune on the short lived, Megan Mullally Show.
Back to the Inside the Actors Studio Interview Josh Radnor, A.K.A. Ted Mosby, spoke up about how he was kept in the dark:
“There’s great fun in not getting too far ahead. I have to play Ted naively and in the present, so I didn’t want to jump too far into the narrator’s head.”
The final season has been building up to the big wedding between Barney, played by Neil Patrick Harris and Robin, played by Cobie Smulders.
Smulders also spoke up about winding up with Barney:
“I’m surprised and very excited that we’ve ended up here, and getting married.Barney is so flirtatious as a character that it was sort of inevitable that we were going to at least sleep together.”
