Now that pregnant Alyssa Milano and her homely husband, talent agent David Bugliari are celebrating their baby news with the world; maybe comedian Jay Mohr's ugly comments about Alyssa's measurements and the Twitter feud that followed will be as forgotten as well as forgiven.
The internet is abuzz with excitement over Who's The Boss Alyssa Milano news, that she and hubby David Bugliari are expecting their second child.
The 41-year-old former child star announced via her official website, that it's okay to start flipping through the catalogs for shower ideas:
"We are so happy to share with you that Milo is going to be a big brother!
"STAY TUNED as we will be creating a baby shower site for you all to share your well wishes and virtual gifts for Alyssa and the Family."
One wonders if Milano's former friend, SNL alum Jay Mohr will be sending any well wishes, or if he's just happy to keep out of sight.
The aging comedian drew Alyssa's ire, when he made some unwelcomed comments about the stars weight on his podcast.
But Milano wasn't having it, and decided to call Jay out via Twitter, for making her feel bad about her perfect life at Christmas:
"@jaymohr37 So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me. Be well and God Bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife."
She told EXtra that normally a remark like that wouldn't get a rise, but folks get a little wonky around the holidays (via Huffington Post):
"I just think he was trying to make a joke and not think about it, but I heard it actually on Christmas Day and it hurt me, I was affected by it and I wanted to remind him that I'm a human being and that this hurts."
Jay quickly put up a heartfelt apology on Facebook, trying to explain that he never meant to hurt anyone's feeling.
Mohr just honestly didn't realize, at the time, that he wasn't funny:
"Knowing that Alyssa (her family, friends, fans, and especially her husband) heard things that were hurtful, from my mouth, crushed me...I will not make excuses for what I said--it lacked class and dignity--and I regret that I ever said it.
"Although I immediately removed that segment from my podcast, it still doesn't change the results...I went too far. I cannot change what I said, but I can assure you that my heart is broken that I hurt her."
Jesus, Jay...that wasn't funny either!
