The body of missing girl 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale from Clayton, New Jersey was found by authorities in a recycling container according to CBS News.
Autumn Pasquale disappearance on Friday Oct. 19 sparked a mass search party by officials and volunteers. Gloucester County Prosecutor Sean F. Dalton confirmed that the body of the New Jersey girl was found and but did not disclose the location of where the body was found.
"This is a very sad day for the Pasquale family. Our hearts go out to the family and to all the residents of Clayton who stood together in support of this young girl," said Dalton.
Pasquale who was about to turn 13 on Oct. 29 was at her friend's house 11-year-old DeAnna Edwards-McMillen on Friday and according to CBS News the two had exchanged text messages on Saturday. Edwards-McMillen said she received a text from Pasquale at 1:22p.m. but went on to say she didn't believe the text was meant for her. It read, "don't be like."
Debi McMillen mother of DeAnna said that Pasquale was often at her house and would leave at her curfew at 8 p.m. Paul Spadofora, the girl's godfather and uncle to her father said that she was reported missing at 9:30 p.m.
After which according to Dalton 50 county and local law enforcement immediately began looking for the missing girl. Come Monday the search part involve the FBI, state police and volunteers.
Autumn Pasquale lived with her father, siblings, her father's girlfriend and her children. No one suspects have been identified at this time.
