‘X-Men’s’ Peter Dinklage Predicts Tyrion Lannister ‘Game of Thrones’ Death, Talks Unhappy Ending in Season 4 [SPOILERS]

Warning Spoilers Follow! Someone take away Peter Dinklage’s nerd card. Sure he may be starring in the upcoming comic book film, X-men: Days of Future Past, but that does not undo his latest sin. The Game of Thrones star recently revealed that he has never read the books that they are based on. Dinklage now fears that he will pay for his crimes with his life. The actor has predicted a very unhappy ending for Tyrion Lannister, including death in Season 4 of the series.

Peter Dinklage’s Game of Thrones character Tyrion Lannister isn’t going to be having a good time this year, at least according to the actor. Dinklage recently told Access Hollywood, about what the new season of the hit HBO show has in store for Tyrion:

“He’s trying to still juggle what he should be doing and what he wants to be doing, and if anybody out there has read the books… that sort of scenario doesn’t work out for anyone--whether it be Westeros or New York City or wherever...So that doesn’t look like that’s gonna have a happy ending, does it?”

Despite playing one of the most clever characters on the show, Dinklage recently admitted that he has never read the books that the show is based on. Dinklage recently spoke to Dave Letterman about how the books confuse him:

"I haven't read the books...And George Martin, our author, is probably going to kill my character soon because I mentioned that….I started to read it, and I got confused."

If Dinklage had read the books then he would have known that Tyrion Lannister is currently alive a well in the books. The series has remained very faithful to the books.

Game of Thrones Season 4 premieres Sunday April 6, on HBO.
