Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy are planning their divorce, before they finished planning the wedding. News has it the Hollywood actress and the British rock-star are reportedly ready to split despite their shared baby and the years they've invested. But that just isn't going to fly for Kate's mom Goldie Hawn. She is reportedly having to scold her daughter into giving her relationship a chance.
Kate Hudson has gone out of her way to start rumors that she and fiancé Matt Bellamy were ready to split, by showing up to the Oscars and other high profile events sans engagement ring.
According to close friends, Kate and Matt didn't fully realize the sacrifices they would have to make to be a part of each other's very different worlds.
A source told Life & Style, that Kate was having a problem dealing with the baby and the loneliness that comes with being in a relationship with someone who has to travel for their job:
"They've been fighting for almost a year...Ever since they had the baby, it's been different.
"She can't handle how much he travels and is away from the family.
"They've been going to couple's counseling to try to make it work...They Love each other but know they've grown apart."
While a friend of Bellamy's told Us Weekly, that Matt was having a terrible time trying to acclimate himself to Hudson's Los Angeles lifestyle:
"[Her Hollywood world] got to be too much for him.
"They've had problems for ages and grew apart.
"It goes back and forth...I think it's over, but they're just figuring out how to let go."
Kate's mom Goldie Hawn isn't trying to hear any of that ridiculous overly self-indulgent bull crap.
An insider revealed to OK! Magazine, that Goldie is disappointed in her daughter's juvenile BS and wasn't afraid to tell her so:
"It seems like they've grown bored with their relationship and don't make much of an effort.
"Goldie told Kate, 'You think it was going to be easy? You have a child; Make it work!
"Goldie would be heartbroken if Kate and Matt don't walk down the aisle...It's all she's been hoping for since they got engaged three years ago; she loves Matt and wants him in the family."
And nobody defy Goldie Hown...nobody.
