NBC’s Parks and Recreation is not new tonight, but fans can still feast their eyes on Chris Pratt. The formerly fat funnymanhas trimmed himself down to for his role as Starlord in the upcoming Marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy. Now Pratt’s P&R co-stars are doting over Pratt's new body.
The cast of NBC’s Parks and Rec recently spoke with Yahoo TV about Chris Pratt’s transformation to a superhero. Pratt, who just finished filming reshoots on GOTG, broke the ice about his new body:
"I had to do reshoots just recently so I had to lose, like, 20 pounds for the reshoots, which ended yesterday...So I'm still hanging onto it for a while... but not for long...In six months there's gonna be a lot more man here standing in front of you"
Pratt’s Parks and Rec cast member Jim O’Heir also spoke about Pratt's abs, adding:
"He's a freak! Plus he was fat before he got them,So he literally made it all go away, and then... I don't get it. I don't get it! I think it's the devil. A deal with the devil."
Pratt’s new body might be unrecognizable to a lot of fans use to his formerly fat frame. However, Pratt's one and half year old Jack is able to pick out his, “dada,” on and off the screen. Papa Pratt recently spoke to People about his boy seeing him on TV:
“I do have video of him saying ‘dada’ when I come on the screen. He knows a lot of words, colors, numbers. He’s very advanced for his age...He also can type 90 words a minute, which is really good for an 18-month-old!”
Pratt and the rest of the Parks and Rec crew have taken the night off but they will return, next Thursday with all new episode.
The official plot synopsis for next’s week’s all new episode of Parks and Rec, titled, “Prom,” reads:
“A high-school senior prom is saved by Leslie and the parks crew. As they help organize the event, Leslie and Ron compete to hire a soon-to-be graduate, April reluctantly agrees to go with Andy as his date, and Tom lets Ben help with DJ duties.”
