The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley recently made the move from actor to behind the camera, when he directed an episode of the show. Now the Stefan actor is receiving some shade from his fellow co-stars, most notably his self professed “girlfriend/boyfriend,” Ian Somerhalder. Meanwhile, Wesley’s real life girlfriend, Originals star Phoebe Tonkin, recently released some pictures of her pregnant belly baby bump. Well...sort of.
Paul Wesley is a man of many talents. Just trying telling that to his The Vampire Diaries co-stars. Wesley decided to step behind the camera to direct next week’s all new episode of the hit CW series.
Following his directorial debut, Wesley tweeted:
“Officially wrapped my first ep as director. Relatively confident I didn't entirely screw it up.”
Entertainmentwise is reporting that while at Paleyfest, Ian Somerhalder managed to throw some shade at his co-star, Paul Wesley after his directing duties:
"By the way, I love working with him as a director, hate working with him as an actor."
However, after ribbing his super best friend, Somerhalder went on to add:
"The great thing about having my brother Paul...We've had many conversations leading up to this one, which was: 'Paul I have your back, you have my back.'He knows the show better than anyone."
Nina Dobrev also chimed in, adding that gave their co-star turned director a hard time during filming:
“I had a lot of fun with him. It was really cool to play tricks on him.”
Meanwhile, Paul Wesley’s real life girlfriend, Phoebe Tonkin has been fooling fans for the last few months by posting pictures on her Instagram account of her Originals character Hayley Marshall’s pregnant baby belly bump. However, many fans are seemingly confused by the photos, and think that the actress is really pregnant.
