Tonight the hit USA series Psych is calling it quits after eight seasons. The long running show is going out with a proper send off. Immediately following the last episode, the network will air a live Q & A with the cast. The Psych After Pshow will be hosted by former Attack of the Show star Kevin Pereira.
Tonight is a very sad night for fans of the long running USA Network series Psych. The show, starring James Roday and Dule Hill, will air its finale episode after an impressive eight season run.
Fans will get a chance to say goodbye to Roday and the gang right after the last episode airs. Kevin Perera will host the live Psych After Pshow following the series finale.
The show’s star, James Roday, recently spoke to USA Today about tonight’s big finale
"It's very easy to focus on the positives because of the fact that it was such a wonderful experience. It did everything a finale is supposed to do without sacrificing the spirit of Psych. It was sort of the perfect balance of an ending and a celebration of what people tuned in to watch every week...two grown-ass men who refused to grow up."
Roday went on to add that his and Dule Hill’s childish antics appeal to a wide audience:
"There's not a lot of shows out there where a teenager is cool sitting in front of the TV with his parents for an hour, admitting that they're enjoying the same content,.We somehow managed to pull that off, and it's because of the fact that we were having so much fun, and it translated.It was like being in a giant play land..Ridiculous and surprising. That's what resonated with people."
The series finale of of Psych airs tonight at 9/8 c on The USA Network. The Psych After Show, hosted by Kevin Pereira, airs live at 10:00 Eastern.
