Jared Leto is looking to get the news out while in Australia that he is looking to date any and all of the continent's women during his current 30 Seconds to Mars tour. But be careful ladies, Leto is known for being a little eccentric at best. Not only was he considering dressing in drag for the Oscars awards show, former stripper Vicki Marie Taylor swears he strangled her while he forced her to give his brother, Shannon, a lap dance.
Jared Leto is single and ready to mingle, or some kind of sleaze-ball BS like that.
Jared told the Daily Telegraph he was pretty much using his band's Australian tour to pick up groupie chicks:
"I am single. If you are out there and feel like saying 'hi,' if you are coming to the show, that would be great.
"I would love to meet the beautiful women of Australia. Always happy to meet them."
The real question is, should the women of Australia be happy to meet Leto?
Former adult-film star and stripper Vicki Marie Taylor allegedly didn't have the best of experiences when she partied with Jared and his brother Shannon back in 2002.
Taylor told Star that once Leto had her alone on his tour bus, Jared got very weird and kind of violent:
"The other girls and I stripped down to our bikinis and hung out with Jared and the band backstage...After a while, Jared invited me onto his your bus.
"I gave Jared a lap dance for just a minute, but then he asked me to do the same for his brother, who was sitting on a couch.
"As I started to dance for Shannon, Jared suddenly grabbed me around the throat from behind and said to me,
"'I can reach full sexual enjoyment in 30 seconds just by looking into your eyes!'
"Obviously, it was kind of a weird situation...Jared is one of the strangest guys I've ever met.
That is so creepy, it makes the weird comments Jared made about his Oscar outfit seem almost reasonable (via Huffington Post):
"I thought about dragging up for the Oscars, going as Rayon, because I knew that she would have loved to be there.
"It's so much work for girls to get ready. I was brought up by my mum, so I always had an appreciation of women. But now I have more respect for the process.
"It's a lot, what women have to do to themselves. But in the end, when you put that final dash of lipstick on and your look all comes together, it really is a glorious reward."
Riiiight...
