Paula Patton hasn't officially served cheating Robin Thicke with divorce papers, but their recent split has been anything but private. Robin is trying to convince the public that things are on the upswing and everyone is "happier." But rumor has it the pair isn't close to getting back together, and Paula is tired of Robin thinking he's going to so easily be able to win her back.
Robin Thicke messed with his beautiful wife Paula Patton, but he has been making a fool of himself publicly trying to win her back.
The real question on everybody's mind is, "has it been working"? The answer to that depends on who you ask.
Robin told People that things were super-good, now that he dedicated a concert song or two to Patton:
"[Paula] loved it...She thought it was the sweetest thing and very romantic, and I've always been a romantic guy that way.
"We're both doing well. We're both very happy right now--much happier
"Everything about this moment in my life--this amazing year I just had and what I'm going through personally--has actually ignited some of the best writing I've done in a long time."
A friend close to Patton believes Paula would be a whole lot happier if Thicke would stop sending her a bunch of expensive crap--like he thinks a little bit of cash will fix everything (via Contact Music):
"In one two-week period alone, Robin gifted Paula with a diamond tennis bracelet, a pair of turquoise earrings and a gorgeous platinum chain that holds a diamond key.
"She's insulted that he thinks he can win her back with pricey gifts. He knows what it's going to take, and it's nothing he can buy with money.
"[Telling Robin,] 'I can't believe you think sending all these presents is going to make everything all better.'''
Believe it or not, it's more of an insult for him to sing those ridiculous songs in your honor.
