Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer's announcement that she would be getting a divorce generated a ton of buzz for the reality star. Following rumors that her husband Mario Singer cheated on her, Ramona shared a little religious insight on Twitter.
Is Ramona now turning to God after it was revealed that her husband may have cheated on her with a much younger woman? Her Twitter feed certainly makes it seem that way.
On March 24, Ramona tweeted an abbreviated version of Revelation 3:8, writing "Having an open door in front of you means having an opportunity before you."
But as Christian Post notes, Ramona didn't get the verse exactly right. The actual verse reads:
"I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name."
Ramona was likely making references to her divorce from longtime husband Mario Singer. According to one source who spoke with OK! Magazine, the divorce is a result of Mario's cheating:
"It's completely true. Before long, [Mario] was sending X-rated selfies to this young, beautiful girl and what do you think she was doing with it? She's forwarding it to her girlfriends."
According to the same source, Ramona is now able to empathize with co-star Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, who endured her own husband's public cheating:
"Remember how Ramona used to torture LuAnn and make fun of her? Now she can really walk in LuAnn's shows and see how it feels. Karma is going to bite Ramona in the ass."
