Warning Spoiler Alert. Glee is all new tonight with the second part of the 100th episode. OK, so it is technically episode number 101, but who is counting. In tonight’s new episode, Iron Man 3’s Gwyneth Paltrow and Wicked’s Kristin Chenoweth attempt to save New Directions.
What do Pepper Potts and Glinda the Good Witch have in common? They are both out to save the glee club, in the all new episode of the hit Fox musical comedy Glee.
Tonight’s all new episode is aptly titled, “New Directions.” The official plot synopsis for tonight's new episode reads:
“April and Holly work together to come up with a plan to save the glee club. Elsewhere, Rachel and Santana try to reconcile after their fight.”
However, it has already been confirmed that Glee will move its main storylines to New York.
Ian Brennan, the co-creator and executive producer of Glee, recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about how the show is growing:
“Knowing where you're going to end up is one of the best creative tools,I feel a creative renewal among us, not only changing locations but also seeing these characters as adults. They're half kids and half adults and that's the dynamic of what it feels like to leave the nest. That has been really exciting this season and we'll get more and more exciting as we move into season six."
He went on to add a little of what the future has in store:
"We're shifting focus away from the McKinley kids but we're definitely keeping that we're not on them but that's still happening, There's a story that we will get back to and catch up with our McKinley world in the last season. We're very aware that we have a world where there are people in New York, Ohio, Chicago and L.A. and it will be synthesizing all of those, which will be exciting."
Tune into to Glee tonight at 8;00 p.m. on Fox.
