Xbox One ‘Titanfall’ Bundle U.S. Price Drop to $450, Beats PS4 In Cost

It is an exciting time to be a gamer. Not only did the Xbox One and Respawn Entertainment just drop Titanfall into the market, but they also teamed up on a special bundle. The Xbox One Titanfall bundle has now received a price cut in the US. The system and the game combo are on sale for $450, in select U.S. retailers. The new price point has the Xbox One beating out the PS4 when you factor in the added Titanfall download and the headset.

If you have been holding off to buy an Xbox One, then now is the time. The system has closed the price gap between it and the PS4, by offering the Titanfall system bundle for $450. That is $50 below the normal selling price, and it comes with the Titanfall game download.

Titanfall is not just any run of the mill free game either. The online only shooter from the team formerly behind Call of Duty has garnered high critical praise. Titanfall has been widely considered the best game on the console.

Amazon, Best Buy and Wal Mart's websites are offering the new price point, but it is not known for how long. Walmart.com will not show the new price until checkout. Walmart is also offering up a bundle with Forza 5 for the same price.

The new price cut and Titanfall bundle is bound to sell some systems. Xbox recently announced that there numbers are rising:

XWire, an Xbox blog, is reporting on the new numbers:

“February NPD Group figures released today [Thursday, March 13] showed that Xbox One continues selling at a record-breaking pace with 258,0 0 units sold in the U.S. in the month of February, surpassing Xbox 360 sales by over 61 percent at the same point in time.”
