It has been one big week for lottery fans. Both the Mega Millions and the Powerball jackpots were claimed. Check the report for the totals for this week's new games, to see what one you want to buy a ticket for.
The Mega Millions $400 million dollar drawing was claimed on Tuesday by two winners, lowering this week’s game to $20 million.
The MM games also gave out an additional $5 mil this weekend, with the official website reporting:
“CONCORD, N.H. – A $5 million Mega Millions winning ticket was sold in Keene for the drawing last night, Friday, March 21. The ticket was sold at the Park Avenue Deli & Market, 30 Park Avenue. The $5 million ticket marks the largest Mega Millions winning ticket sold in New Hampshire since the New Hampshire Lottery began offering the game in January 2010. Additionally, a $100,000 winning Gimme 5 ticket was sold last night in Bedford.”
Millionaires were being made all over the country this past week. The Powerball jackpot was claimed last night with PB website reporting:
