Disney’s Canceled ‘A.N.T. Farm’ Series Finale: Jake Short Goes ‘Glee’ with New York Move?

Disney’s A.N.T. Farm has officially been put out to pasture. The series finale of canceled comedy airs tonight. The show starring China Anne Mcclain and Jake Short will not return for a fourth season. However, unlike, Shake it Up, look for some closure tonight. It has been rumored that show will feature a Glee like finally, as some of the talented and gifted students make the move to New York.

The official plot synopsis for tonight's grand finale of A.N.T. Farm, titled, “the new york experiANTs
“ reads:

“Chyna connects with a street performer in New York City, who pretends to be a tough guy to impress her. Meanwhile, Fletcher gets a chance to move to New York to be an artist in residence at a museum.”

Just Jared Jr. is reporting that one of the show’s stars, Jake Short’s character, Fletcher will receive the chance to stay in New York as an artist.

Fletcher’s possible move feels like a twist straight out of Glee, another series about a group of talented students. A few of Glee’s stars have made the trip to the Big Apple. For Glee’s final season, the rest of the main cast are also making the move to New York, New York.

Jake Short himself, has already moved on from the series. Short currently stars on Disney XD’s Mighty Med.

It was first announced that the third season of A.N.T. Farm would be the very last, when the show’s star China Anne McClain tweeted:

“It was GREAT filming ANT Farm but after 3 seasons it's come to an end. I'm excited about my secret projects and keeping you guys happy!”
