Absence really does make the heart grow founder claims Hayden Panettiere of her 2012 split from fiancé Wladimir Klitschko. The 'Nashville' star claims that the brief break-up was just the shot in the arm her relationship needed, and now the couple is engaged. The wedding has been postponed until the turmoil in Wladimir's native Ukraine subsides, though if they were planning a Crimean ceremony, chances are that been 86'd for good.
Hayden Panettiere and her boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko seem almost inseparable these days, but back in 2012 the coupe thought it best if they called things off.
Hayden told Metro that she's glad they did, because it made their relationship all the more fulfilling once they got back together:
"It means a lot when you experience life with someone, then you experience life without him and decide that you don't want to live without him.
"You date, you try to be with different people, you make mistakes, and you get to know yourself in the process.
"And in the end you want to be with someone who makes you the best version of yourself."
Too bad they won't be able to tie the knot until Putin and the President can work something out in Ukraine, Wladimir Klitschko's home.
The 37-year-old world renowned pugilist told Us Weekly, that the wedding is postponed until the fires in his country are put out:
"With the circumstances right now, it's hard for us to set a date...She's socially aware. She has that beauty outside, but most important, it's the beauty inside. Hayden is an amazing person."
For Hayden who love the Ukraine and its people almost as much as she loves Klitschko, it will more than likely be worth the wait (via ABC):
"The beauty of this country is breathtaking: the landscape, the beautiful churches. But nothing compares to the undeniably deep souls of the Ukrainian people."
Yeah...or maybe they should just plan to renew the vowels their someday.
