Early Thursday morning, just after midnight, the founder of the hate group The Westboro Baptist Church, Fred Phelps, passed away. Now it turns out that Phelps may have a successor in evangelist Billy Graham's son. Recently Franklin Graham praised Vladimir Putin and Russia’s anti-gay laws.
Fred Phelps founder of the infamous "God Hates Fags" hate group The Westboro Baptist Church passed away early Thursday morning at the age of 84. No cause of death was given but early satirical reports suggest that his heart finally grew too cold to beat.
However, don’t worry hate groupers, Billy Graham's son Franklin Graham is taking up the torch now that old man Phelps has passed. In a recent issue of Graham’s very own publication, Decision Magazine, Franklin praised Vladimir Putin for his highly controversial anti-gay laws:
“In my opinion, Putin is right on these issues. Obviously, he may be wrong about many things, but he has taken a stand to protect his nation’s children from the damaging effects of any gay and lesbian agenda...Our president and his attorney general have turned their backs on God and His standards, and many in the Congress are following the administration’s lead. This is shameful.”
However, in the fashion of a true hypocrite, Graham went on to add,“I am not endorsing President Putin,” while he was seemingly endorsing President Putin:
“Isn’t it sad, though, that America’s own morality has fallen so far that on this issue --protecting children from any homosexual agenda or propaganda--Russia’s standard is higher than our own?”
Ah yes, the very same homosexual agenda that is poisoning our children and turning them into an army of non reproducing, well groomed, singing and dancing machines, who don’t hate blindly. America is sure to fall when the gays get their way. After all, how can our soldiers hold their guns, with jazz hands.
