'Breaking Bad' Bryan Cranston and 'Avengers 2' Aaron Taylor-Johnson Talk 'Godzilla' Reboot After New Trailer

Move over Matthew Broderick. Get out of the way, throng of screaming Asians. There is a new American reboot of Godzilla in town, and this time he is not playing around. The new Godzilla film stars Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston, alongside Avengers 2: Age of Ultron’s Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Check out the new trailer below.

Recently the stars of the new Godzilla reboot sat down with Yahoo Movies, where they opened up about the new film. The highly acclaimed Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston opened up about his decision to star in the monster flick, after the end of his successful tv run:

"At first I was a little reticent, just because of the overall nature of it. I was coming off of a very well-written show with a very compelling storytelling that's going to be compared to whatever I do. Then I thought that I didn’t want to be a prude about it either. I want to be able to embrace the largesse of it, the uniqueness of it, and the fun! I don’t want to say, ‘Oh no no, that’s not high-brow in any regard!’ What won me over is the storyline and Gareth’s commitment."

Aaron Taylor-Johnson was sure glad that Cranston signed on for the movie. Taylor-Johnson plays Cranston's son in the new film, and he told the publication what it was like working with him:

"Bryan’s f**king brilliant. He’s the most professional actor I’ve worked with in a long time. He brings so much energy and preparation, he’s always exploring new bits within a scene and giving ideas. He’s very giving. A warm, wonderful man. He’s really incredible, super funny. It’s been great, I couldn’t have asked for anything better."

The new Godzilla stomps into a movie theater near you on May 16.
