FX Americans costars Kerry Russell and Matthew Rhys are constantly surrounded by rumors that he two are dating outside the show, despite Felicity's still being in the earliest stages of divorcing her husband Shane Deary. Matthew has repeatedly dismissed the idea, but his presence at during Kerry and her daughter's outing to the park recently, seems to suggest otherwise.
Despite all the on air chemistry and Kerry Russell's complete vulnerability, 39-year-old Welsh actor Mathew Rhys swears he isn't putting the movies on his Americans costar.
Rhys told People that even his mother found it kind of hard to believe that the pair aren't an item in real life, even though they play such a convincing couple on TV:
"She calls up going, 'What's going on? I just read this about you.'
"I tell her, 'You have to take off your Google alerts.'
"That is the best [rumor] I love.
"I've told her a million times that there are a million inaccuracies that she's read, [but she still] calls and goes, 'Is this true?' I tell her, 'No! When are you going to get it?'"
Matthew Rhys and Kerry can pretend all they want, but what non-involved co-worker spends their free time watching their peers play with their kids like the Daily Mail reports Rhys did last week:
"Keri Russell was lucky to be able to combine the two most important things in her life on Tuesday as she took a break on set of her FX series The Americans to play with her two-year-old daughter Willa.
"The 37-year-old actress indulged in cuddles with her little one and even taught her to fly a kite on the outdoor set in New York City.
"Later, the pair joined Keri's co-star Matthew Rhys at a picnic table on set, where he sat and read while the actress was on mother duty.
It may not be a smoking gun, but no man is that supportive unless he's gay or looking for some sort of return on his time investment.
