American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez claims she has been working hard getting her newest album ready for its scheduled release date, though she hasn't even worked out a name for her eighth album as of yet. Her mom Guadalupe Rodriguez has higher aspirations in mind; she has teamed up with Michele Obama to increase awareness and urgency as the final weeks to sign up for Affordable Health Care enrollment draw to a close.
Jennifer Lopez has her eighth album just about ready for release if you don't count the fact that it doesn't have a name.
Ole J-Lo hasn't had an album dropped since 2011's Love?, but according to MTV there will new collection of Lopez jams before the summer's end:
"Jennifer Lopez has announced the release date (Jun. 17) for her as-yet-untitled eighth studio album.
"The American Idol judge's follow-up...will feature collabs from Tyga, Big Sean, and French Montana, plus a duet with Maxwell."
Lopez told Radio.com that she worked extraordinarily hard on this album--not even allowing herself, her customary 6 month break between projects:
"I can tell you that I went on my first world tour, came back and went right into the studio. I was really inspired.
"I also went through a big transition in that year, had been through a lot of pain. I grew and learned a lot. I was thinking a lot about life and emotions and how I felt and things that had affected me. All of that came out in the music."
Jennifer's mother Guadalupe Rodriguez is too busy working with the first lady to worry about what her daughter is up to, but that didn't stop her mother from doting on J-LO during the #YourMomCares ACA awareness video campaign (via Us Weekly):
"Jennifer walked at 8 months. And she was climbing out of her crib when she was a year old. At one point, I thought, 'Well, maybe she should be a gymnast.'"
The world definitely would have been a better place if she had.
