New Episode Previews of 'Originals' and Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles’ 'Supernatural'

Tonight is a big night for fans of the CW. The network is all new tonight, with brand new episodes of the TVD spin-off, The Originals. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles’ hit series Supernatural is also all new. Check the report below for a special preview of the new episodes.

The Vampire Diaries spin-off, The Originals is all new tonight. The preview for the new showing, titled, “Moon Over Bourbon Street,” reads:

“Elijah makes a bold move to regain control over the Quarter and receives an intriguing offer of support from a beautiful woman who belongs to a powerful New Orleans family. Meanwhile, the Mikaelsons throw a lavish party in an attempt to bring the warring factions of the city together, but a vicious fight threatens the evening.”

The Originals will be followed by an all new episode of the long running series, Supernatural.

The official plot synopsis for tonight’s new episode, titled, “Blade Runners,” reads:

“Sam and Dean get help from a former member of the Men of Letters to locate the First Blade, after Crowley falls off the wagon and starts injecting himself with human blood. To make matters worse, a demon betrays Crowley and tells Abaddon that the Winchesters are searching for the First Blade.”

Jensen Ackles recently sat down with E! Online about the strain between the brothers Sam and Dean:

“It's been pretty rocky this season, and not just the relationship between the two of them, but personally, for myself, for Dean, it's been a kind of treacherous year for him. He's had a lot of grief and regret and pain and suffering and just, you know, there's a lot of turmoil going on inside of him, and he's made some poor choices that have added to it, and learning that his brother doesn't necessarily have his back to the extent he thought he did. That hurts. It's a troubling time in paradise, and Dean's having a real tough time, and it's been difficult as an actor to play that emotion with him, because Dean can get emotional but at the same time he can also have the levity of the situation, he can lighten it up, he can have the comedy. There's just been very little of that this year because of what he's been going through. It's been a burden for him to carry.”

The all new night on the CW, starts at 8:00 p.m.
