Good thing for daredevil/Motocross racer Carey Hart his wife, singing sensation P!nk, should have no problems paying his exorbitant hospital bills thanks to her many revenue generating tour dates and the new multi-album deal that she just inked with RCA records. The only bad news--if her husband wants to continue in their relationship, he has to quit Motocross in 2014.
International pop star Pink, also known as Alicia Moore, signed a new multi-album record deal with RCA which means she should be at least as marginally popular as she is now, for years to come.
P!nk's last album The Truth About Love was released back in 2012 by RCA, and it must have done well enough that they are hungry for more.
In P!nk's official statement following last Tuesday's contract signing, Alicia said she was just as excited to make a new record with the company as she has been with all the others (via Billboard):
"I am super-duper excited to continue onwards and upwards with RCA and my team there. We work really well together and they care in a way that artists don't get to see very often anymore.
"I look forward to whatever the future holds for us and am so beyond thrilled with how much they believe in me. Woohoo rock n roll!"
Moore is far less ecstatic about her husband's future prospects of walking, so after her last crash she asked that he retire for the sake of his family.
A close friend to the couple told Star that P!nk got to the place where Carey's death defying career just didn't make sense for her anymore:
"P!nk would have never asked Carey to give up something so important o him in the past, but having a daughter has changed her outlook.
"She doesn't think the risk is worth the reward."
Moore is super-duper excited to have Carey safe and sound for the future together, but Alicia knows that Carey's retirement won't be the ending of her days spent fretting (via Belfast Telegraph):
"I worry about everything...I'll say, 'We need to talk about the way you passed me the butter this morning because I feel like it's over between us.'
"And he's like, 'I just passed the f**king butter, what are you talking about?!' But we have such good communication now; we've worked on it and are still working on it."
As long as Carey also retires from eating and talking, it sounds like these crazy kids just might make it.
