ABC News has reported that Ramjeet Raghav a 96-year-old Indian farmer maybe setting the record for the world's oldest new dad for a second time.
Raghav and his 52-year-old wife Shakuntala Devi who live in a town just 30 miles shy of Delhi welcomed a baby boy into their family born Oct. 5.
The farmer became the oldest man to sire a newborn setting the record two years ago when he and his wife produced his first son named Vikramajeet. The almost 100-year-old says his healthy sex drive at his age is all natural. Raghav said he is strict vegetarian and does not consume any form of alcohol.
On an Online post Raghav said. "I didn't take any performance enhancers ... I just prayed to god to complete my family, either a boy or a girl.
The farmer is a late bloomer and told the The Times of India that he was celibate for most of his life and until he met his wife ten years ago.
"After staying together, we decided to extend our family and aspired for two sons. With God's grace, our wish has been fulfilled," said Ramjeet Raghav.
The record for oldest man to sire a newborn child previously belonged to another Indian farmer, a man called Nanu Ram Jog, where it was reported that he had had his 21st child at the age of 90.
Ramjeet Raghav according to The Indian Times is registered as 96 according to records by his government in Haryana, ABC News however cannot confirm if it is true at this time.
