You have to be willing to spare no expenses if you want to stay happily married to a diva like Mariah Carey, just ask her "Drum Line" husband Nick Canon. Not only did they have to pony up $13 million on a new L.A. house to keep her complacent, the America's Got Talent host has literally promised her the moon for this year's anniversary wedding vowel renewal.
Mariah Carey isn't easily wooed or satisfied; and you can believe that her husband Nick Cannon knows it.
Every year it is not enough to celebrate their anniversary with dinner and small tokens of affection like normal people; the Cannon's have to renew their vowels, which pretty much means a new wedding for Mariah every 365 days.
Last year the couple rented the entire Magic Kingdom so Mariah could indulge her princess fantasies at the expense of little children's happiness.
This year Nick knows he has to top even that and told Life & Style that he is literally shooting for the moon:
"I'm planning something a little more adult this year...I like the idea of the moon.
"I don't know how we're going to get there, but I'll set it up."
If anyone can do it, it's Nick. He has grown used to getting Mariah everything she wants without question, just like the $13 million mansion they purchased in Los Angeles.
Realtor to the stars Cristin Zweig told Life & Style, that Nick and Mariah got their money's worth:
"The 11,750-square-foot home costs nearly 13 million.
"It has seven bedroom and nine bathrooms, as well as a movie theater, basketball court and gym."
All that space and Nick doesn't even have room for his sneakers; he told the publication that indicative of the rest of their relationship Carey has left his with next to nothing for himself:
"She has all the closet space!...My things are in the corner."
What that man won't do for his butterfly.
