Since Juan Pablo was first announced as ABC's Season 18 Bachelor, Juan Pablo has been accused of joining the show to further his career and deepen his pockets. But since Galavis has somehow convinced the entire world to hate him in just 6 short weeks, it looks like he will remain broke and living in his parent's condo. Juan Pablo can't expect a loan from season winner Nikki Ferrell either; word is she dumped the former soccer player because he wasn't serious enough about their relationship following the show's finale.
If the rumors that Juan Pablo only ever joined the Bachelor for fame and fortune are true, than he did a just a poorly at that as he did finding true love.
A show insider told In Touch that Juan Pablo came into the show looking to parley the attention into real profits, but hasn't been able to manage it:
"[Juan Pablo] is trying to translate his time on the Bachelor into being a brand...[But] No one like him. He's having a hard time.
"He's desperate for income...I don't think he's got much money at all."
According to an article in In Touch, Galavis has been forced to move back in with is parents, while he plans his next move:
"[Galavis] currently resides in a nondescript downtown complex with his mom and dad, 40 minutes from his daughter Camila, 5, and his ex, Carla Rodriguez."
One ABC production insider told In Touch magazine that Juan Pablo could plan all he likes, but his career isn't going anywhere:
"His life after The Bachelor will return to normal quicker than I'm sure he'd like.
"Juan Pablo is not going to join the group of Bachelor success stories...People won't remember him for long."
Word has it that he won't be moving into Nikki Ferrell's place anytime soon, or ever.
According to a close friend on Ferrell's Juan Pablo blew it with her almost before the show was even over (via In Touch):
"They should've been jumping at opportunities to spend time together, but they weren't.
"There's no romance at all--the two are 100 percent not together anymore."
Yeah...so get back in your hole Juan Pablo.
