Julia Roberts Sister Nancy Suicide News: Ditched Memorial Service, Won’t Honor Motes Publicly

Julia Roberts wants people to think that even though she never supported her sister publicly, things weren't as bad as you think. So it makes sense that she refused to honor her sister Nancy Motes memory at her official memorial service after her tragic apparent suicide, in lieu of a "private", possibly made up service held the day before. Because you wouldn't want people to see you were sad that you drove your sister to kill herself?

Actress Julia Roberts couldn't be botherd to show up at her siter Nancy's memorial service in Santa Monica March 8, because she has reportedly attended a private service the day before.

An insider told In Touch that it wasn't just that Julia couldn't pretend to be sad for two whole days in a row, but truth be told, Roberts doesn't want to talk about Nancy now that she's dead, anymore than she did when she was alive:

"It's no secret that Julia never intended to publicly honor Nancy.

"The Family didn't want the focus of the [public] memorial to be on them. They wanted it to be about Nancy and her memory.

"The whole Roberts family came and brought picture of Nancy [the day before]...Each honored her in their own way."

Nancy's friend John Fraschetti says that you should take every reference to the Julia's grief for the shameless propaganda that it is (via Daily Mail):

"They are crying crocodile tears. They have taken control of this situation, but they never cared for her when she was alive.

"And then you get the actress woman who is pretending to grieve but she didn't want to deal with Nancy and made her f***ing miserable.

"[Nancy] couldn't stand the rejection of her mom, who in the last six months had cut her off entirely.

"It hurt her that none of her family wanted to be with her. She had a miserable Christmas, truly awful, and I think she just couldn't handle it."

It is impossible to know if Julia's pain is a real as her shame, but one thing is for certain.

Julia couldn't find it in her, for whatever reason, to show up and honor her sister's memory among Nancy's true friends and family, and actions speak louder than words.
