Amy Poehler Boyfriend Nick Kroll Shows Up On New ‘Parks & Rec,’ Plus ‘Community’ Episode Preview

Tonight NBC’s only surviving Thursday night comedies, Parks and Recreation and Community,are both all new. Amy Poehler’s real life boyfriend and Kroll Show star, Nick Kroll will stopping by the parks department once again in tonight's all new P&R.

NBC kicks off its now dwindled down Thursday night comedy line up with an all new episode of Community starring Joel McHale. The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode, titled "VCR Maintenance and Educational Publishing,” reads:

“Jeff, Shirley and Professor Hickey stumble upon a secret stash of textbooks and decide how to monetize their discovery. Meanwhile, things get intense when Abed and Annie try to pick a new roommate.”

Up next is the hit workplace comedy, Parks and Rec. Amy Poehler’s real life boyfriend, Nick Kroll, will guest star in tonight’s all new episode, titled “New Slogan.” Kroll will be reprising his role as radio host, The Douche, on the hit series. The official plot synopsis for the episode, reads:

“Leslie's efforts to create a new town slogan catch the unwanted attention of two local shock jocks; Andy uncovers an interesting secret about Ron while scouting bands for the Unity Concert; Tom, Donna and April tour possible restaurant locales.”

Kroll is the star of the Comedy Central sketch comedy series, The Kroll Show.

Meanwhile, Parks and Rec has already been renewed for a seventh season. The season six finale will air on Thursday April 24, and will feature one really big guest star. The First Lady of the United States of America Michelle Obama will pop up in the season finale.

Community airs tonight on NBC at 8:00 p.m. followed by Parks and Recreation at 8: 30.
