A new tabloid article is suggesting that the rumored Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling breakup is false. The couple is still together, however, their relationship is said to be on shaky ground. These latest claims come after months of reports that Ryan and Eva were going to call it quits, following claims that Ryan may once again be dating Rachel McAdams.
For a while, it seemed as though those depressing rumors about Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling having romance trouble were false. Ryan was photographed driving Eva's vehicle, posing with a cell phone at her property and a number of other positive signs.
Unfortunately, the latest edition of OK! claims that things aren't as picturesque as they might appear. One source told the publication that while the couple is together now, they likely won't be soon (via Star Pulse):
"Their romance is definitely on shaky ground. For the past 18 months, they've been talking about taking the next step, to the point that on every vacation, Eva's been convinced he would be popping the question. The trip to Iceland in September was the last straw. She pretty much gave him an ultimatum, but he balked and she stormed out and flew back to the States without him."
Of course, this is the same publication who claimed that the couple actually broke up months ago. In a previous article, the disreputable gossip rag quotes a source who claims Eva initiated the breakup:
"Eva said the relationship just ran its course. There wasn't a lot to say. He was everything you're supposed to want in a guy--great on paper--but she felt like something was missing."
