Jazz and Blues musician Alvin Youngblood Hart will tour the United States for the remainder of the calendar year making stops in Mississippi and New York in the coming weeks.
Before Hart plays to crowds in New York the blues musician will keep touring the United States with stops in New Orleans, Louisiana on Oct. 17 and Oct. 27.
The artist will be at the LAF Square with the North Mississippi Allstars first on Oct. 17 then he will be at the VooDoo Festival in City Park.
On Nov. 1 Hart will be in Tupelo, Mississippi at the Blue Canoe venue. The following day on Nov. 2 the blues man will be in Memphis, Tennessee at the Blue Monkey. After which he will take his talents to St. Louis Missouri at BB's Jazz, Blues & Soups for a 9 p.m. performance.
On Nov. 9 and Nov.10 Jazz at Lincoln Center's The Allen Room will welcome blues and jazz artist Alvin Youngblood Hart to the stage. Hart will be on show Nov. 9 at 7:30 and 9:30 and Nov. 10 at the same times with tickets starting at $55.
A return to Mississippi is on the cards for the guitarist when he plays in Hattiesburg at Benny's Boom Boom Room on Nov. 30.
December will see the jazz musician play in New Orleans again to round out the year. DBA Bar will welcome him on Dec. 7.
Hart will then combine with the Honey Island String Trio on Dec. 15 at the Chickie Wah Wah venue and the following day Dec. 16 he will be at the same place this time with the Honey Island Swamp Band.
Alvin Youngblood Hart final tour date for 2012 is on Dec. 22 at the Maple Leaf Bar in New Orleans.
Hart was born in Oakland, California and got influenced to take up blues by relatives stories of blues musician Charlie Patton. The musician won a Grammy in 2005 for "Best Traditional Blues Album.
To date Hart has produced five albums since his first appearance on the circuit in 1996 the last of which came in 2005 entitled "Motivational Speaker."
