As the finale of 2014's Season 18 of the Bachelor drew near, America didn't care about Juan Pablo's news concerning Nikki or Claire's final rose, and they mostly just thought about how much they hated him. At least that's what former Bachelor Sean Lowe, Howard Stern and host Chris Harrison did when they watched the finale unravel.
Juan Pablo has no shortage of critics after his season of the Bachelor finally wrapped, but it is a little different to have the show's host and its former lead both verbally ridicule you immediately after the finale.
Chris Harrison told ABC following Juan Pablo's combative response to his question about loving the winner, Nikki, that he just wanted Galavis to be truthful for once in his life:
"I wasn't harping on him so much to make him say "I love you," that's kind of irrelevant to me. It was just, things weren't adding up and it was just bizarre. Their body language was telling me one thing and his words were telling me another. It was him.
"I don't know what his motivation was for what he pulled last night. That was the most puzzling thing. I really felt like I was sitting here, like Jerry Maguire, saying, 'Help me help you. I'm trying to make you look better. Come up with an articulate thought about this woman next to you who has pledged her devotion to you.'
"[But] the more he spoke, the worse he looked."
Sean Lowe took to Twitter to attack Juan Pablo performance of his Bachelor duties as well as his levek of disrespect for buddy Chris Harrison:
My take on last night: I commend JP on not proposing if he isn't ready. And he certainly shouldn't feel pressured to say 'I love you.'
"However, as the bachelor you can't say I want to keep my feelings private. You owe it to the fans and network to open up. That's the job.
"Lastly, disrespecting the nicest guy in show business @chrisbharrison should be a crime. That's my take."
But believe it or not Sirius XM talk show host Howard Stern summed up the American audience's sentiment when he railed against Juan Pablo's crude behavior and lack of honesty on his morning program:
"One thing I know is when you say, 'I have to be honest,' you're not being honest. He's a douche.
"He doesn't know how to play this game with these women. He just doesn't. He has no game what so f---ing ever.
"Oh there's like a million things...He's in this helicopter with these two chicks...this is just one example in a million...Now mind you that he is three days away from possibly asking her to marry him. He goes, 'I don't know you, but I love f---ing you.' So she freaks out and she's like, 'OMG. This guy just said he doesn't know me, but he loves f---ing me.' And she was appalled. The guy is a moron."
Plus, nobody crosses Chris Harrison and gets away with it...Nobody.
