It's been a pretty big news week for the cast of Real Housewives of New York. Aviva Drescher took time to defend Ramona Singer, calling her "solid" after Singer announced her divorce. Also, new pics of Bethenny Frankel, walking with her daughter, have been released.

"While it was a chilly day in the Big Apple, the ex talk show host, 43, looked like she was wishing for sunshine as she sported a white floppy hat with brown trim... The mother of one grabbed pizza with her daughter Bryn in New York on Saturday...The brunette beauty looked in great shape, showing off the impressive results of her yoga routine in a pair of figure-hugging beige jeans and slouchy grey suede boots with a heel."
Bethenny looks like she's feeling great, despite the fact that she just lost her day time talk show due to poor ratings. Though this really didn't come as a surprise, considering Frankel was consistently beaten by Queen Latifah, as one source told Star:
"Bethenny is livid about Queen Latifah beating her--she can't believe this is happening. She's holding crisis talks in order to figure out what Latifah has that she doesn't. Bethenny was overjoyed when Kris Jenner's show got canned, because she figured Kris was her biggest competition. She had no idea that Queen Latifah would be the one to crush her. Unfortunately, she's still seen as a Real Housewife, and people just like Queen Latifah better. This is a huge embarrassment."
Unfortunately, Bethenny's not the only one going through a public divorce. Ramona Singer, recently announced that she is splitting up with her hubby as well.
Don't worry about Singer, she has a number of friends at her side, including Aviva Drescher. Speaking with People, Aviva defended her friend and co-star:
"Ramona is one of those people who, amidst adversity, she triumphs. It's incredible: She is solid. Ramona is surrounded by lots and lots of friends who love her and care for her. I've absolutely been there for her."
