There has been yet another update in the rumored breakup of Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes. A new article suggests that Ryan views Eva as his muse, following reports that he has been dating Rachel McAdams.
British publication Heat has made major headlines for their new report about Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes. According to one source who spoke with the publication, the two have definitely broken up, and Ryan is a wreck without Eva (via Independent):
"Ever since they broke up, Ryan's been pleading with Eva to take him back...He was a wreck without her - she's his muse and the only woman alive who could give him the courage to try directing. They're good for each other and a great match. He knows it and he's not going to let her get away this time."
The magazine goes on to claim that it was Ryan who ended the relationship, after he refused to marry the sexy Latina. Of course, this report is in direct contrast with others we've seen.
This is especially true of a recent report from OK! who claims that it was Eva who wasn't ready to take things to the next level:
According to one source who spoke with the publication, it was Eva who was responsible for the split:
"Eva said the relationship just ran its course. There wasn't a lot to say. He was everything you're supposed to want in a guy--great on paper--but she felt like something was missing."
Then again, the insider also revealed that it may have something to do with Eva's alleged inability to commit:
"Maybe that's the commitment-phobe in her. Ryan wanted more, and then realized that just wasn't going to happen...The more he wanted to get more serious, the more she pulled back. So, to him, it just wasn't worth investing his heart into the relationship, and he stopped caring."
