Nick Lachey says that his 17-month-old-son Camden, that he had with wife Vanessa Minnillo, has prepared him for his job hosting VH1 early show Moring Buzz Live. The 98 Degrees band member said that he has come accustom to early morning and hectic days, since welcoming the bundle of joy into their lives, but he still wants at least one more son and a daughter.
Nich Lachey is not as worried about waking up for his new early morning gig as he would have been two years ago.
The boy-band pop star told ABC that having his son Camden 17 months ago has been all the preparation he needed for the pre-dawn program:
"When you have a baby, you definitely become a full-time morning person. He prepared me for morning TV, a good year and half worth of preparation getting up early every day.
"We are really excited that we get a chance to do this before [Camden's] in school and make spontaneous decisions like this."
Nick told In Touch that he didn't mind all the extra work; that was exactly what he signed up for:
"I went into parenthood knowing that it was a lot of hard work, so no...It's easily the best thing I've ever done.
"Every decision I make in about what it best for him.
"There are challenges but they just make out bond stronger."
Nick enjoys the work so much that he told People he is already considering having another one or two:
"I do want a girl... I think there's something emotional about having a daughter that I definitely want to experience.
"Maybe I'll get one more boy under my belt first."
Nick sure is signing Vanessa up to have a lot of babies.
